Nowadays clothing is being produced as a disposable item. People buy clothes that aren't worn after one or two seasons. Clothes without any signs of deterioration are being disgarded.

By offering sustainable and quality clothing, Äleluja wants to stand up to the consumer culture. The t-shirts are of a good quality and can be worn regularly for an extended period of time, whithout showing any signs of deterioration.

Äleluja believes that everyone has the right to make their own decision on how to live. We provide a non-statement oriented clothing option for those wanting to live a sustainable life.

Authenticity:

On the one hand the authenticity of the t-shirts is distinguished by its ecological and fairtrade background. The t-shirts are effectively made from ecological cotton (SKAL label) and produced in a fairtrade environment guarding human rights. The printing is as ecologically as possible. Currently there is no SKAL equivalent label for printing yet. However our printing-office is known for its ecological practices. The label within the t-shirt is also printed by “Drukte” on recycled paper. The t-shirts, ordered through the website, are delivered in recycled packages which are also printed ecologically.

On the other hand, there is the “trash”/“underground” authenticity. Every t-shirt is unique. The edition is limited (maximum 100 to 200 copies), no mass production. The t-shirts are uniquely designed by various recreational artists, each with their own story.

In our current society there is a constant over-supply, we have to make choices all the time. That is our reason to keep our supply to a minimum, 3 colours and maximum 2 prints per colour. The purchase through the website is user friendly.
